BUSINESS SUPPORT AND ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT
Foundation for Youth initiative has more than twelve years in providing business support and development services to many small and medium enterprises and social organizations
These services typically include : business planning and development; product design and marketing; marketing channel identification; fund raising strategy development; access to credits; business information sharing; investment technology analysis; financial analysis; strategic planning development; business brand development; standard operating procedures development, accounting and financial management training.

YOUTH MENTORING AND APPRENTICESHIP
The program mentors socially disadvantaged aspiring entrepreneurs to create innovative enterprises and scalable startups that address local needs through the creation of jobs and wealth.
We offer mentorship and business incubation primarily to the benefit of women, youth, and farmers. We equip beneficiaries with skills in critical thinking and idea generation, lean canvas business model development while improving their access to financial resources they need to start and expand their businesses. The program also facilitates structured work-based training for unemployed by engaging employers in providing the youth with opportunities to develop relevant skills over a period of time. Trainees are paid a stipend of no less than the minimum wage, the cost of which is borne jointly by the employer-and the Foundation.

AGRICULTURAL VALUE CHAIN DEVELOPMENT
This Program empowers smallholder farmers access technical services in the dimensions of agriculture value chain development, technology acquisition, technology knowledge transfer and marketing linkages.
We assist farmers consolidate their operational capability, streamline agribusiness activities, harness value chain and marketing development and access local and regional markets.

CLIMATE CHANGE AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION
South Sudan is currently experiencing the impacts of climate change. Flood, drought, and famine have reached unprecedented levels. Deforestation, oil sludge, and plastic waste have increase pollution of the local environment, the Nile River, and its tributaries.
This program helps stakeholders galvanize efforts to address effects of both man made and natural environmental disasters. The Foundation advocates for inclusion of climate change into national policies and planning processes; integration of climate-smart agricultural techniques, promotion of sustainable natural resources management and conservation of wetlands. We also liaise with the community especially schools, roll out regular public awareness campaigns to promote environmental education.

ICT FOR BEHAVIORAL CHANGE
This program helps local entrepreneurs adopt a mix array of social media to promote their business-to-business marketing. Through this program, we help local entrepreneurs create their online landing pages, brand awareness, connect with specific businesses, network with different industries.
The program also helps schools in South Sudan work with schools abroad to improve student engagement in philanthropic work that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion of all citizens. For example, we enable students in Gabat Primary School in Juba, South Sudan to actively engage and connect with their peers at Little Red School House Community in New York City (NYC), USA; students are given the opportunity to learn about and interact with their peers in Juba and Manhattan, NY, by providing a real-time global connection.

ADVOCACY AND ENGAGEMENT
We build networks and partnerships with the government institutions and development partners to promote sustainable economic growth opportunities for development and empowerment of underprivileged youth, women, refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs) and people with special needs.
We work with the key government institutions to establish a Youth Enterprise Development Fund with the goal to bring more youth into economic growth and development; and a Women Enterprise Development Fund for provision of subsidized credit for women-based enterprises development, and capacity building of women entrepreneurs, a
Refugees/IDPs Investment Fund to promote and support economic, social inclusion and local human development activities, which contribute to the integration of refugees/IDPs into local communities.

GRANTS MANAGEMENT
This program provides technical assistance to development partners, donors, and the government institutions through cooperative agreements to render technical supports to program beneficiaries.
Supports include: screening of grant applicants; per-grant award; due diligence exercises; proposal development and technical analysis; financial record-keeping; disbursement tracking; project and financial reporting; budget formulation and management; project monitoring and evaluation and project closeouts.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
his innovation lab translates a theory of change into practice through research, development and implementation of products, initiatives, policies, strategies, frameworks, programming, and planning.
The program enables the staff and beneficiaries and practitioners effectively contribute, acquire, develop, retain, share, and apply knowledge in all aspects of implementation of programs and projects which are intended to bring desired changes in the lives of undeserved communities in both rural and urban areas.

OFF-GRID AND SUSTAINABLE ENERGY
The program helps local entrepreneurs invest in off-grid and renewable energy by using solar, hydro, wind, biomass, and biogas-technologies to provide power solutions to agriculture processing, health care, education, ICT, and other commercial and industrial activities.
We work closely with local entrepreneurs by providing technical and remediation support.
