In a vibrant gathering held yesterday, Foundation for Youth Initiative with the generous support of Muchinga Partnership hosted a memorable get-together session to officially recognize and celebrate six young, visionary entrepreneurs as the winners of the Muchinga Partnerships Awards.
These outstanding change-makers were selected through a rigorous and competitive selection process involving interviews with the FYI team and the President of Muchinga Partnerships . After careful evaluation, their projects stood out for their innovation, potential for impact, and sustainable business models.
Each of these six winners represents a unique and promising business venture ranging across various sectors and they now stand at the threshold of transforming their ideas into engines of growth and hope. The awards came in the form of seed capital or investment tickets aimed at boosting their capacity enabling them to acquire essential equipment, hire staff, strengthen operations, and explore opportunities for scaling up their ventures.
The event was graced by the CEO of FYI, who delivered an inspiring message to these young entrepreneurs. He challenged them to “change the narrative and create life-sustaining livelihoods, not just for themselves, but for their communities and the nation at large.”
